In this interactive and practical retreat workshop, we will show you how to systematically record and analyse Jobs to Be Done. Based on the JTBD Research and Innovation Framework, we will introduce you to the unique and structured JTBD innovation process, with which you can turn the needs of your customers into the foundation of sustainably successful business models.

Date, and location & prices for the next JTBD Masters Retreat

The next JTBD Masters Retreat will take place from 04. until 05. October 2023. The exact location has not yet been decided, except that it will be Western Europe. Your investment for the retreat is from 1.950 € net. Training materials and meals during the day are included in the price, accommodation and travel must be organised by the participants themselves. You can now reserve one of the maximum 12 places available without obligation.

Workshop work and training content

The retreat will take place in an unconference format. Every day there are topics that can be chosen freely by the participants and on which they work interactively. Each module includes theoretical basics, practical exercises and discussions. The retreat offers participants a balanced mix of theory and practice to gain a deep understanding of Jobs to Be Done and apply what they learn directly to their own work.

In addition, all participants have access to the contents of the “The Wheel of Progress®” Innovation Framework and can use all templates to implement their own remote JTBD projects with MURAL. This allows you to apply what you have learned directly in your company and develop innovative products and services based on the needs of your customers. Jan Milz is an experienced entrepreneur and product manager with a wide range of experience in various industries. His core competence lies in product invention and product development with the help of jobs-to-be-done, which he has been involved with since 2013. Jan openly shares his extensive knowledge with you and loves to report from the practice of his numerous projects.

Peter Rochel has been working with the Jobs to Be Done theory since 2006 and over the years has developed a unique JTBD Research & Innovation Framework and proprietary tools. He has conducted JTBD research and business model design for over 700 companies in various industries, as well as countless JTBD trainings and coachings.

It will help you understand your customers’ needs, identify their jobs and develop innovative products, services and business models on this basis.
